I'M NICKY HAMMOND
I call myself "The Coach's Coach".
I live with my hubby, my two primary school aged boys and my Staffordshire Bull Terrier in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia.
I was born in South Korea. When I was 6 months old, my identical twin sister and I were adopted by an Australian family. I am a transracial adoptee with a fascination for culture, language and a heartfelt desire to give back.
Five years ago I was a perfectionistic, overwhelmed mum who was sceptical of self help and afraid of public speaking. I didn’t feel confident to get paid to help other people transform and I didn't know how to run a business. Today I'm a certified Master Coach and successful solopreneur.
I’m an advocate for people like me. Coaches who are starting their coaching journey from the beginning and are not sure about how to go about it.
I’ve been a 1:1 coach, a coach instructor and a group coach (including consulting for online business expert Amy Porterfield). I’ve created my own coaching programs, courses and I have coached hundreds if not thousands of humans. I proud to say that these days, I get to work from home, doing what I love, in my ugg boots. 😍
MY STORY
I came out of coach certification feeling doubtful about helping others create results.
I ended up signing up for a Master Coach Certification, so that I could become a better coach and build my business with confidence. It took me years to figure out what I needed.
With practice and feedback from amazing coaches, I learned how to use a coaching conversation to facilitate my clients’ transformation on a deep level. I developed my ability to coach with confidence in my own unique way. Today I'm a certified Master Coach, who can delve deep into trauma informed mindset coaching and somatic healing.
I also struggled in business, with my niche, my marketing and selling my coaching. I felt nervous about building a successful coaching practice.
In the beginning I followed the advice of lots of “successful” coaches who I believed had the answer. I ended up doing things that felt out of integrity and I felt terrible. I didn’t listen to my intuition and I stopped having fun. It took time to realise why it felt so bad and why I wasn’t getting the results I was promised.
I finally realised that the rules I thought I had to follow, held me back from creating a coaching practice that felt in integrity. So I threw the rules out the window. I gave myself permission to do it MY way.
Now I offer that journey to coaches in an environment that is compassionate and transparent. It’s what I wish I had when I first became a coach.
I’m passionate about leading and participating in a coaching industry that is ethical.
Ethics are important because we have impact on individuals, the community, and the world at large.
I created some resources as a response to what I saw happening in the coaching industry. I saw a rise in unethical marketing and business tactics that were compromising, value, quality and safety for clients.
At first I got angry... and then I created this Signature Ethics Class and Worksheet.

Mission Statement
I work with coaches who want to build their confidence as a coach and a solopreneur, so they can create a coaching practice they love and make money doing it. I help coaches master the artform of coaching and business building, in their own unique way. I am building a welcoming community of like minded coaches.
Impact Statement
My work is focused on leading and participating in a coaching industry that prioritises quality, safety and ethics. I support a coaching community that has an authentic transformational impact in the world and lifts industry standards with constant improvement and learning.
As coaches we share the incredible transformative potential of coaching and we are helping lift the consciousness of the world. We are changing the world 🙌🏼
Inclusivity and Diversity Statement
I am committed to inclusivity, diversity and accessibility in my coaching practice.
I created a scholarship for coaches who are serious about participating in my group online course, who would not be able to access the program without financial assistance. Each round of my program I offer two full scholarships. My decision is made based on financial need and personal status in the interest of supporting people from marginalised identities. The Scholarships for the February 2023 round have been awarded.
